Bucharest is a large city with many interesting sights. For this reason, it can be difficult to see all these places if you only spend 2 days here.
In order to get the full Bucharest experience, you should combine two modes of travel: by foot and by bus.
Like in other major cities from Europe, there is a hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus in Bucharest.

The bus schedule

In the warm season, it operates daily rides on double decker open tourist buses.

the first bus departs at 10:00 AM

and the last one finishes at 21:45 (9:45 PM)

There are buses going every 20-25 minutes.

A full ride takes around 1 hour to complete.

This is where you can find the buses more easily, because they are stationed. Despite this, you can also grab one of the buses at any other stop along the way.

The bus can be picked up at 14 different points

all signalled by a red sign and the words ‘Bucharest City Tour’.

If you will take the bus from Piata Unirii, you could also join our free walking tour in the Old Town which starts close by every day at 10:30 am. This way, you can check out the places available only by foot before deciding to go for a bus ride.

The cost of one ticket is

25 lei (5 EUR) for adults

10 lei (2 EUR) for children ages 7-14 years

children below 7 years ride free of charge

This ticket is valid 24 hours after being activated. It can be purchased directly on the bus either in cash or by card.
