Bodega “La Mahala” – La Mahala: My personal favourite place to eat traditional food in old town, it is cheap and good. (the mici are perfect here)
Caru’ cu bere – Most beautiful place for traditional food, touristy and requires a table reservation in the evening. (the papanasi are perfect here and the smoked meat soup)
Terasa Obor – Cheap mici, cheap beer, BBC did a documentary about them.
Fabrica Grivița – you see how the beer is produced behind the glass and it’s the cheapest craft beer in a pub you can find, it is also next to the Chocolate museum
Best places to try to listen live music in Bucharest
Sera Eden – The staff there know how to make cocktails, it is mostly a summer place but in colder weather they have space inside, also there is a pizza place inside and make an amazing pear, gorgonzola and honey pizza
My best places to drink and see Bucharest from above
Linea – Closer to the Moon – is an iconic restaurant and rooftop bar, famous for its breathtaking view of Bucharest Old Town.
Lounge 18 – Named after its floor number, 18 invites you with a unique blend of cuisine, music, design and a stunning view of the city skyline, Herastrau Lake and Kiseleff Blvd.
My best places to drink and see Bucharest from above
Gradina Dorobanti – The atmosphere is unpretentious but stylish. It’s very nice to have drinks there with friends.
Cotroceni garden – Gardens, greenhouses, water like a lake or a wide stream, and everything is there – trees, flowers, plants from all over the world. Fascinating, and exciting for lovers of plants and gardening, and very beautiful to see and walk in the gardens even for those who are less interested in a private garden.
