From one of the poorest cities in Europe, in just 70 years of monarchy in Romania, Bucharest changed and became so beautiful that it was nicknamed Little Paris or the Paris of the East“.

However, the city was destroyed by bombs during World War II.

After the war, Bucharest was again devastated, this time because of the Communist regime which almost completely transformed the city and its people.

Everything culminated with the violent Romanian Revolution in December 1989 when Communism collapsed in Romania.
