Did you know that the B in Bucharest is coming also from Beer? 🙂
You are in Bucharest and you will have to embrace the Romanian spirit and its drinking habits. It is a well known fact that Romanians enjoy drinking sometimes, but what is less known is the fact that the beer culture in Romania is highly versatile.
If today there are around 30 Romanian craft beers, in the 1980’s there were more than 120 breweries around the country.
Despite this, in the last 10 years, there is a clear upward trend for reintroducing craft beers and most of them are produced and available in Bucharest.
So if you are a beer lover, Bucharest is the place to be, below we list some of the best places to have a nice cold beer, whether these places are tourist hot spots or just known by its locals.
